Introduction
In big cities, many people rely on buses for daily commutes. Knowing when the next bus will arrive is crucial for planning. This case study explores the creation of 'BusWatch', an app that provides accurate, real-time bus arrival information based on a user's destination.
Problem Statement
During my college days in Mangalore, my friend and I, both from Kerala, struggled with finding local bus timings because we couldn’t read or speak Kannada. This language barrier made it hard to navigate the city’s public transportation system. That’s when the idea for BusWatch was born.
Solution
We decided to design a simple, user-friendly mobile application that provides bus timings to make it easier for students, tourists, and locals to navigate the city's buses. BusWatch eliminates the language barrier and offers real-time, accurate results without requiring users to log in.
